Baptism

Baptism in water in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit makes a person, above all else, a member of God’s eternal family. Baptism for infants and young children is available to both members and non-members, following a visit with the pastor. Because this is not just a one-time event but a lifelong pledge, those who have their child baptized at BMZ Church are strongly encouraged to continue involvement in our congregation as their child grows into the Sunday School years and beyond. Baptism for adults is available to those who never received that sacrament as entry into the Christian community; We accept the Baptism of anyone baptized in another denomination as a brother or sister in faith. Instructional sessions will be offered for those becoming members of the Church in this way.

Funeral Services

Funerals are available to members by virtue of membership, and to non-members, generally by arrangement through the funeral home. A Christian funeral at BMZ Church is a service of honor and remembrance for the deceased, but most importantly a time of worship and thanksgiving for Christ whose death and resurrection offers comfort, hope and life for the departed and for those who mourn.
